2019年第39届欧洲肿瘤外科学会(ESSO)年会将于2019年10月9日至11日在荷兰鹿特丹举行。ESSO年会将为肿瘤和肿瘤外科学术团体提供一个科学的环境和平台，包括普通外科医生、不同专业的外科肿瘤学家、学生、培训中的外科医生、住院医师、专科护士以及所有参与管理癌症患者的医护人员。ESSO大会将提供卓越的教育和交流机会，通过全体讲座、专家会议、辩论、科学研讨会和海报会议等形式，展示外科研究、患者管理和实践、肿瘤外科学标准、关键指南等方面的最新进展，全面地认识管理实体肿瘤的最新技术，以便与会的代表们可以带着改变实践的见解返回他们的机构，造福于全欧洲乃至全世界的癌症患者。

This year, our congress theme is "Delivering Excellence in Cancer Surgery", featuring a comprehensive three-day scientific programme devised by leading scientific and surgical experts. The latest developments and key aspects in surgical oncology will be discussed through an array of interactive sessions to highlight the significance of a multidisciplinary approach in the management of solid tumours and raise the quality level of surgical oncology care in Europe.
ESSO 39 will offer a scientific environment and platform for the oncology and surgical oncology community, including general surgeons, surgical oncologists of different specialties, students, surgeons in training, residents, specialist nurses and all healthcare workers involved in managing cancer patients. The event promises extraordinary educational and networking opportunities to provide a richer understanding of the latest techniques to manage solid tumours so that delegates can return to their institutions with pratice-changing insights for the benefit of cancer patients across Europe and beyond.
