2019年第46届澳大利亚临床肿瘤学会(COSA)年会将于2019年11月12日至14日在澳大利亚阿德莱德举行。COSA年度科学会议（ASM）是澳大利亚首屈一指的多学科肿瘤学会议，于每年的11月份举办，届时将邀请国内外从事肿瘤治疗研究的医师、医学界研究人员、放射肿瘤学家、肿瘤外科医生、护士和药剂师、科学家参与。COSA的第46届ASM将专注于泌尿系统癌症 - 以前列腺癌为特色，同时也会讨论睾丸癌和膀胱癌，以及其他相关问题，如症状控制等等。

COSA's 46th ASM will focus on urological cancers – of course we will feature prostate cancer, but also sessions on testicular and bladder cancer, as well as other related issues such as symptom control, and urological survivorship. The contemporary topic of “digital health” will be featured in plenary and concurrent sessions, when we will cover the uptake of recent technologies in healthcare and the promise (and challenges) of My Health Record. “Age and gender” in cancer is a new addition for COSA – here we will cover gender issues for both patients and health professionals, sexuality, couples, transgender issues, as well as age related matters for the very young and the very old (and some for those in between too). Lastly, we will examine some of the global issues in cancer including changes in cancer epidemiology and their interface with global economic, environmental and political changes and their impact on cancer control. I am particularly excited about these subthemes and hope you are as well.
