世界核医学与生物学联盟(WFNMB)成立于1970年，是致力于促进世界各地核医学进步与发展的非营利组织，由主要参与核医学和生物学研究、教育、培训和/或实践的每个国家承认的团体、社团或协会组成。
WFNMB每四年举办一次世界大会，自1974年举办第一次世界核医学大会以来，WFNMB世界大会已成为世界各国核医学领域相关专业人士进行学术交流和展示当前世界核医学发展水平的国际盛会。大会将力邀2011年度诺贝尔物理学奖得主Prof. Brian Schmidt出席并将担任全体大会演讲嘉宾，同时众多享誉国际的专家也将担任演讲嘉宾，将有超过40个国家的2,000余名参会者齐聚一堂，交流和学习最新研究成果，与会者包括核医学医师、放射药理学家、放射化学家、放射科医师、物理学家、科学家、技术专家、护士以及更广泛的医学和科学界人士。

The Congress seeks to promote further global translation of molecular medicine incorporating the translation of basic laboratory research to clinical practice, establishment of clinical and technical standards, and the translation of molecular medical technology to developing countries for the benefit of patients worldwide.

1 To qualify for the student registration rate, you must be a full time university student as at 20 April 2018. A letter of confirmation of your enrolment status from the University or College must accompany the formal registration form. Ticket to Congress Gala Dinner not included in student registration.
2 The Developing Country registration is available for delegates residing in developing countries. Ticket to Congress Gala Dinner is not included in Developing Country delegate rate. To qualify for the Developing Country rate, a confirmation letter (in English) including signature of Head of Department and copy of passport showing identity details are indispensable for proof of status and must accompany the formal registration form.
3 Day Delegate provide access to the Congress for one (1) selected day of preference from Saturday 21 to Tuesday 24 April 2018, no entry to Welcome Reception or Congress Gala Dinner.
4 Registration to the Cairns Post-Congress Symposium is available for Fulltime registration only. Registration for the Symposium can be added during the registration to the congress.
Delegate Registration includes:
- Admission to all scientific sessions from Friday, 20 April to Tuesday, 24 April 2018 unless otherwise stated3
- Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Friday, 20 April 2018 at the congress venue3
